Land Acknowledgment
As immigrants, we are grateful and humbled by the generosity of the original custodians of this land; the peoples of, the traditional territories of Treaty 7, which include the Blackfoot Confederacy (comprised of the Siksika, the Piikani, and the Kainai First Nations), the Tsuut’ina First Nation, and the Stoney Nakoda (including Chiniki, Bearspaw, and Goodstoney First Nations). We also acknowledge the City of Calgary as home to the Métis Nation of Alberta (Districts 5 and 6).
In response to their generosity, we commit ourselves in the spirit of reconciliation to provide services in a way that promotes reciprocity, respect, and openness to learn.
